The Oklahoma State University Student Union brings esports to campus with a high-tech facility that is committed to the rapidly growing esports industry. The OSU Esports Arena provides a welcoming space for gamers to engage with fellow students while enjoying a wide-variety of gaming options. Our hope is the arena also serves as a learning opportunity as we continue to build programs and experiences that provide unmatched opportunities to our students.
While the student experience certainly is important to us, the arena is not limited to just OSU students. It is also available to faculty, staff, alumni and the community. Whether you are seeking a competitive environment to hone your skills, you have a passion for esports as a spectator or you are somewhere in between, we are here to support your esports interests and endeavors.

    The house account games usually require a visitor to own the game, but visitors can play them with our house accounts without owning a license. Besides those, there are several games in the arena that have free licenses:

  • What accounts should I have to play every game in the arena?

    All the games, with the exception of the house account games, require each visitor to login to a service account. There is no fee to sign up for an account. You can maximize your gaming time in the arena by signing up for each of the following accounts before visiting:

  • What if the game I want to play isn't installed in the arena?

    We are adding games in the arena all the time. If the game you're looking for is new, chances are it will be available in the arena soon. However, you can always suggest a game you'd like to play in the arena. Send us an email or hop on our Discord and use the arena suggestions channel.

  • $3 for 1 hour
  • $10 for 5 hours
  • $20 for 10 hours
  • $175 for 100 hours

Non-OSU

Members of the community:

  • $4 for 1 hours
  • $20 for 5 hours
  • $40 for 10 hours
  • $400 for 100 hours

Non-OSU Memberships and Perks

Members of the community can buy a monthly membership to gain access to the reduced OSU student, faculty and staff pricing.

  • $20 for 1 month of reduced OSU pricing
  • $30 for 6 months of reduced 0SU pricing and 10 free hours of game time
  • $55 for 12 months of reduced 0SU pricing and 20 free hours of game time

    Arena Rules & Code of Conduct

     The OSU Esports Arena is located at the heart of campus in the historic Oklahoma State University Student Union. Oklahoma State University students, staff, faculty, alumni and guests are welcome to engage in the wide-variety of gaming options available.

     The 1690 sq. ft. space features 46 top-of-the-line Alienware computers, gaming gear, SecretLab Titan gaming chairs and a live-stream broadcast station.

     

    Hours of Operation:

     Normal arena operating hours will be open to the public from 10 a.m. – midnight, Monday through Friday unless otherwise posted. Weekend hours will open from noon to midnight, unless otherwise posted. The Student Union reserves the right to reserve the arena for classes, events, tournaments, meetings or other activities.

    Arena Rules & Code of Conduct:

     The OSU Esports Arena Rules and Code of Conduct:

     All gamers are welcome – regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion or experience level.

    In general:

    • Arena availability is first-come, first-served. Please visit meetings.okstate.edu or call 405-744-5232 to reserve the Cowboy Underground area or to check availability for console gaming or tabletop gaming.
    • For safety and cleanliness, no food and/or drink in the arena.
    • Personal peripherals or USB devices may not connect/attach with the PC’s without permission from arena staff.
    • The reserved stage area (six computers oriented on the south wall) is reserved for GOSU Varsity Teams and staff only.

    Certain activities and behavior will result in varying levels of punitive measures. These activities and behaviors include:

    • Intentional destruction or tampering of hardware, software or equipment.
    • All types of harassment.
    • Cheating.
    • Illegal activity.
    • Toxic behavior. Toxic behaviors are those that create an unfavorable environment such as bullying, threats of violence, stalking, forms of intimidation, or any behavior that the arena staff considers detrimental to the culture of the arena.

    Reporting

    The Oklahoma State University esports program encourages reporting of incidents involving Oklahoma State University students or affiliates. If you see behaviors not consistent with our code or university principles, please inform any of our arena staff and/or email osuesports@okstate.edu.

  • Waiver Form for Minors

    All visitors to the OSU Esports Arena must accept the assumption of risk and waiver of liability when logging into the PC for the first time. Minors MUST have a signed form the first time. The form can be downloaded here  and can either be filled out and submitted digitally to osuesports@okstate.edu or printed and physically submitted to the arena staff.
